On August 23, 2025, the 5th Charity Golf Tournament was held in collaboration with Zusammen Bewegen e.V. and the Zoo Osnabrück – a day of sport for a good cause. Golfers of all skill levels came together to enjoy the game while supporting educational opportunities for children in Cameroon.

On September 3, 2023, the first Africa Day took place at Osnabrück Zoo, a colourful event for the whole family that has been held annually since then. The program includes music, a fashion show, a gospel choir, a raffle, face painting, and African dances. Around €2,450 was raised the first time for the construction of a boarding school in Cameroon.

Since 2020, Zusammen Bewegen e.V. has been regularly organising the Africa Festival in Osnabrück. What initially started as a small initiative has now become a fixed part of Osnabrück’s cultural calendar. The Africa Festivals are not only cultural events but also places of encounter. People from Osnabrück and the surrounding area experience African joy of life, tradition, and modernity, not second-hand, but directly in exchange with those who live this culture. Each year, the festival focuses on a special theme that highlights both intercultural exchange and the association’s project work
